IAA Accreditation for Australian University Courses
In line with the IAA’s global mission to educate the next generation of professionals, the IAA offers formal accreditation to tertiary education programs that prepare students for the global commercial communications industry. The IAA worldwide accreditation program has a twentyyear record of accomplishment. Currently, over 40 leading universities, colleges, and professional schools throughout the world hold IAA course accreditation, including courses in five institutions right here in Australia. These include Charles Sturt University, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, University of Canberra, and Deakin University
It is the course, not the university, college, or tertiary institution that is accredited. Each IAA accredited course has been individually assessed and scored through a rigorous, benchmarked IAA Education Council process to ensure that there is an internationally recognised quality of formal content and teaching required by the global communications industry for its students and future young professionals.
